January 28th

Casa Bonita Annual Trek

What is it about Casa Bonita that draws us up there every year? It sure isn't the food!! The kids can't get enough of the place!

The kids with their cousins~ AJ and Tori!

Behind the waterfall!

On the stage!

This picture got Matthew in mid-fall. Poor little man. His tongue bled and bled.

Happy Birthday MaMa and Sarah!

January 27th

Sarah's 8th Birthday is today!!!

Joshua couldn't wait to give Sarah her balloon that he had bought her for her present. Present-giving happened in the morning!!

OUR NEWEST TRADITION FOR 2012... doing random (for others anyway) acts of kindness for however many years you are...

We started out at Safeway...

Hiding just the right amount of money on the back of a cake box.

Dollar Store... here we come to hide a $1.00 on the back of a toy!

We picked up ... and put away... grocery carts in the Safeway parking lot. It was a windy day... so it was hard!

Money on the coke machine in the Wal-mart!

Cookies for our neighbors!

Cookies for the Recycle place workers!

More cookies to the Fire Station!

Picking up trash on Ladonia Court! Whew... was it cold and windy!

An evening of a favorite meal and girl-y cake!

Happy Birthday Dear Sarah!!!

January 26th

We went bowling today. Very random... and very fun. The kids really loved it. The pictures speak for themselves.

January 25th

Wednesday Night is AWANAS NIGHT!!

Leah with her friend, Hannah.

Sarah, next to her friend Sara, talking to others!

Joshua, right in the mix of things... he's the one that won't turn around to look at the camera! Silly boy!

January 24th

This is just a hoot. Tabitha was over by the rice cooker and saying, "I scared... it a monster." I really had no clue what she was talking about until she pointed at the rice cookers' face and she even moved "the monsters" mouth to show me how it was scary. The imagination of this child is off the charts!

Rachel made 6 half pints of Apple Streusel candles. Let me tell ya... the house smelled fantastic!

Sarah giving the family her report on "The History of Cats." Did you know that cats were considered 'demigods' in early Egypt and were worshipped? She ended that cats to this day still acted like they were demigods. HA!

Leah presenting on "The History of Horses." Her main focus was on Saddlebred horses. This child loves horses and would've researched till the cows came home (pun, intended.)!

How is this... Rachel researched on how Golden Retrievers breed. She, and everyone else, learned much about this process. We also now know what to be looking for when Precious "goes into heat."

Leah made a Peach Pie. We celebrated the completion of our research papers with pie and ice cream.
